Amy Zimmerman is the founder and principal of A.Z. Communications, headquartered in San Diego. Her firm brings marketing communications and public relations programs to investment management, professional service and nonprofit organizations. Her focus is on building the reputations and communications programs of organizations that are working to make a positive difference to communicate and grow their businesses. In her early career, she held marketing communications and PR positions with firms including Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, Elan Pharmaceuticals and LPL Financial. Amy is a long-time literacy volunteer at the Monarch School for children affected by homelessness, a member of Business for Good San Diego, and has previously served on the Board of Directors for Women’s Empowerment (WE) International. Amy holds a B.A. from Fordham University in New York City.
