With over 25 years of experience in the wastewater industry, Glenn Acosta brings a unique combination of technical expertise in wastewater treatment and proven leadership in public outreach for major infrastructure projects.  At the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, Glenn led community outreach and government affairs for multiple efforts, including the Clearwater Project — an essential infrastructure upgrade serving 5 million residents. This landmark project features a new 7-mile tunnel that will protect local waterways by addressing aging infrastructure.

As part of the outreach effort, Glenn developed a school program to inspire students to pursue STEM careers. His innovative strategies earned state and national recognition, including the NACWA Award for Public Outreach. Glenn holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and is dedicated to advancing sustainable water solutions through technical innovation and meaningful community engagement.
